If You've been trying to get to the next level with your playing but been struggling to tie it all together...
Let me tell you about something NEW & DIFFERENT for a change...
If like many players, you've been hopping from one course to the next...
Or from one YouTube video or channel to the next - and not really getting anywhere...
And you're looking to finally ENJOY playing and have fun on the guitar again...
And you want to improve not just your playing or technique but your whole musical knowledge...
where you could not only have loads of FUN learning guitar...
but where you could also learn from and with others to develop your craft…
A place where you could learn at your own pace, being supported and encouraged by others on the same journey…
A place that's not just about learning specific songs or solos from those songs...
but a place where you learn what musical ideas are being used and why - you know; actual musical development!
A place where you can find some better ways to practise as well as how to get the most from the time you have to practise…
A place where it’s fun and engaging and where you can learn about the bands, the artists and the albums that you love, as well as the musical side of things…
Somewhere where you could get to learn what made the great players sound the way they did and what made them different.
Somewhere you could find out about their gear and how to record your own music…
If any of that appeals, then great - you're in the right place!
But you know what?
HERE'S WHAT MAKES ALL THAT EVEN BETTER...
You see, most Memberships or Courses just leave you to it when you join.
There may be tons of videos - more scales, more TABS, more practice...
But that doesn't always help, because it doesn't address the real issues most players face; you need feedback!
And more is not always better.
So imagine you get all the access to resources, videos, backing tracks and all that stuff...
- BUT -
what if we were on a zoom call a couple of times a month - or even weekly as well!?
What if someone listened to what you were doing and GUIDED you - not just sent you to another video or course section...??
And that my friend...
IS THE GUITAR EVOLUTION DIFFERENCE !

Now I know there are a ton of guitar courses and videos out there already:
There's YouTube and loads of other websites to choose from.
Some are excellent and have been put together by fabulous players.
Some are aimed at the basics...
and others teach you to "shred" or play blues - and other styles.
But there’s one big problem with leaping from video to video or channel to channel on places like YouTube...
And maybe you’ve experienced this already…
That problem is bringing everything together in a way that moves you forward towards your playing goals.
(And let’s face it, not everyone wants to be a "Shredder" anyway!)
What about the guys and gals who feel stuck in the middle ground?
The ones who can play a bit - and want to play more but, they don’t want to “shred”?
They don’t need the pressure of trying to learn all the scales and arpeggios and play that way, because they have no interest in playing like that!
Other than for ego or maybe to show off a little now and again, learning to play that way takes serious time and commitment.
And not everyone is interested or has the time to play endless scales for no reason!
What about those guys and gals that love Classic Style Rock...
(You know, where the song was King and the melody and the sound was more important than the amount of notes in the solo!)
Don’t get me wrong by the way – I love showing off a little now and again playing Satriani or Malmsteen type stuff!
And I would never discourage anyone from wanting to pursue that level of technical ability or understanding!
Even after I had been playing for over a decade, to get to the next level,
I had to put in two years of hard study and work - often playing for around 12 hours a day.
But whilst it gave me a great understanding of the fretboard and technique an so on, I never really found a way to incorporate that style of playing into my own music.
And to be honest, most of the time now -
(after I went down that rabbit hole and re-appeared years later lol)
I still find myself going back to my musical roots and prefer listening to more classic rock.
Personally I love all the original heavy rock greats:
Bands like AC/DC, UFO, Motorhead, MSG, Iron Maiden, Whitesnake, Scorpions and so on.
Great bands where like I said, the SONG was the Master…
So my dear fellow Guitarist...

. . .
Like I already mentioned, this a place where you can come and learn what’s going to help you become the player you want to be.
Now, courses are great.
They can really help you get from A to B for some specific things.
I've created courses based on the CAGED System.
Understanding this is fundamental to getting around the fretboard.
At some point.
BUT - Not knowing it won't stop you playing the way I can show you...
Oh - and by the way,
The courses I've created are included FREE (worth £124 at this point) when you sign up for Guitar Evolution!
In fact, as long as you're a member, you'll have free access to all the courses on this site!
So...
Maybe you've tried courses or been a member of another site already?
Maybe you're still a member!
(It's always good to learn from as many people as you can!)
But the problem with the way many sites and learning materials are laid out is that they can be a bit hap-hazard…
You pays yer money and ya get stuck in.
But, unless a course is quite direct and to the point,
(which I try to make mine!)
and it focuses on a specific, achievable outcome, courses can feel a bit...
Meh.
And eventually you lose interest.
Usually, you are left to your own devices, trying to figure it out.
You sign up and you're let loose.
But then you just end up jumping from one thing to another.
And before you know it, without proper guidance,
or support to help you along the way,
you just get confused...
or overwhelmed...
or bored.
A recent study published on LinkedIn concluded that the percentage rate for average online course completion was between 5 and 15% - and bigger courses was just 3 to 6%..!!
Isn’t That Amazing!
People are paying for and enrolling in courses,
then losing interest before they’ve even got a quarter of the way through!
With that in mind, that's one of the reasons I put this membership together the way I have.
And one significant element is the community element.
You’re not just enrolling in a course and being left to it, with no accountability or anyone to turn to.
In Guitar Evolution, everyone is invited to be part of the community and to help and encourage anyone else on the same journey.
Before I launched this, I did some fresh research.
I wanted to really understand what Guitarists were looking for.
I did a survey asking what players wanted to achieve and how they were developing.
I asked what they found useful and helpful when learning – and so on!
Some of these were previous students.
As you know, circumstances change, people move on in their jobs and life in general...
And for these reasons, they just weren’t able to continue doing lessons with me the traditional way.
But I was curious to see who was still playing, how they were doing, and so on.
Despite being all different ages and locations, the reasons they cited for not being where they wanted to be, were all virtually identical!
These included:
using their "practise" time the most efficient way
not having the confidence to experiment
felt lost trying to tackle more advanced stuff
So, with that in mind, I wanted to create something different:
A place where fellow guitarists could get more from their playing.
Somewhere with access to all the things that would help them...
A place I described above - BUT - with one major difference:
It’s an ever evolving and growing community of like-minded players...
Players who are all at different stages but understand that we all have to start somewhere.
Players who want to support each other, share their wins and what they’re working on.
And rather than just get left entirely to your own devices...
Trying to follow a traditional course that takes months and gives you zero feedback...
I wanted to make it somewhere worth being part of!
So just to remind you, if you're still on the fence...
We've got:
The community
Regular feedback / critiques
Regular updates
Weekly online get-togethers and Q&As
ZOOM chats
...and more!
So if you've finally had enough of trying to figure it all out for yourself...
And you would like to become a member
and
You STILL want more!?
Ok, so Guitar Evolution is a place where...
We’ll be sharing tips and knowledge, as well as advice and ideas on all things guitar related.

If you already play like Steve Vai or Joe Satriani or any of the other giants of guitar... this may not be for you!
But.. if you consider yourself a beginner to intermediate player and want to:
Improve your technique
Broaden your general musical knowlege
Learn about musical devices
Discover how to construct solos
...and much, much more, then I'd say you're likely to find something in here that will help!
Here's what I'm hoping... In short:
YOU WILL TRANSFORM YOUR PLAYING!
You'll become a better player by understanding more about:
Technique
General Musical Knowledge
Recording (tips and advice)
How to "Practice" efficiently
Musical Devices
Applying Your Knowledge
and seriously, SO MUCH MORE!
Ok, so here's my take on these...
Many Membership sites don't deliver, simply because there are a bunch of videos and other content which is basically just dumped into the Members Area...
It's left to you - the one who needs help! - to go in and nosey around and try and piece together what's there...
There's no structure and no obvious route forward or constructive way to develop what you're working on...
I know, because I've joined a few to suss out what others are offering and see what they're offering.
Some are great but most work as I've said above - the "leave you to it" philosophy...
However what I am trying to do with this site is add an element of community.
Struggling with something in particular? So are hundreds and throusands of other guitarists!
Wouldn't it be great if you could share that journey, spur each other on and add something of value to others who are learning similar things to you...
BUT IT GETS BETTER THAN THAT...
Because, on top of that, I will be involved here personally and joining you for the journey!
We'll be setting up zoom calls or other stuff where we can genuinely interract: Somewhere I can review what you're doing, help if necessary, give you tips and advice, do videos specific to you and so on.
I genuinely want to see you succeed as a player and get where you want to be with your playing!
If nothing else, surely that's gotta be worth a few bucks a month!
Good Question!
Here's what you can expect... Videos on EVERY aspect of playing (technique, skill development, scales, arpeggios and general musical knowledge and theory, amp set up, recording tips and advice and.....!!)...
PDF downloads of TABs, Access to the Community where you can post, add comments and so on...
Case Studies, Backing Tracks to Jam to, webinars and Zoom chats (gotta suss this one out a bit more!)
Come on - What's not to love!
Sign Up, Log In and Get stuck in!
Remember, there's no contracts or long-term ties, if you join us but decide later it's not for you.
I look forward to seeing you in Guitar Evolution!
